Tim Ypey - Team Lead
Tim is the team lead of the training department at SafetyPro. He holds Level 3 certificates from both IRATA and ITRA, and is also an IRATA instructor.
"Tim gained experience with working at height and rigging in the event industry. After that, he worked in the petrochemical sector as a rope access technician, where he further developed his knowledge and skills. His practical experience helps shape training courses that reflect reality, always putting safety first.
After working as a head trainer for a few years, Tim now mainly focuses on organizing and supporting the training portfolio. In addition, he continues to provide training to rescue services and rope access technicians, with a central focus on practical skills and safety. This way, he ensures that both trainers and participants are well-prepared to get to work."

Cathelijne Oosterhuis - Lead Trainer
"Cathelijne is an incredibly valuable addition to the training team. She primarily focuses on specialized rope rescue training for various rescue teams. Cathelijne holds IRATA Level 2 and ITRA Level 3 certificates.
When it comes to training and education, Cathelijne already has a wealth of experience under her belt, having worked as a mechanical engineering lecturer at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. Climbing is also nothing new to her as a recreational climber. This great combination of skills and talent makes us highly enthusiastic about having this trainer in our midst."

Barry Helsdingen - Trainer
"Before starting at SafetyPro, Barry worked as an instructor and rescue staff member at Klimbos Garderen and Harderwijk. A rewarding and fun period, but eventually, he was ready for a new challenge. When he came across the vacancy for Working at Height Trainer, his interest was immediately sparked — especially by the focus on rope access and IRATA. 'I want to know more about this,' he thought. No sooner said than done.
At SafetyPro, Barry now provides training courses such as First Aid, Working at Height, and Fire Awareness. No two days are the same — which is exactly what appeals to him about the job. The combination of hands-on practice, technology, and direct contact with participants keeps it engaging. But what truly completes the picture is the team: energetic, professional, and with a strong sense of responsibility. During team-building days, this is confirmed time and again: collaboration is incredibly important here."

Miranda Visscher - Office Support
"Miranda has been an unmistakable force within team SafetyPro for nearly 15 years. Her adventure began in 2011 at Ascent Safety, and since then, she has grown into the linchpin of our organization. Outside of work hours, she is a true sports enthusiast: from playing soccer and running to trail running, Miranda draws her energy from nature and staying active.
What makes Miranda so enthusiastic about her work is the dynamic nature of her daily tasks. Whether it's welcoming clients, scheduling training sessions, preparing quotes, handling administrative duties, or even taking care of the lunches – every day brings new challenges. The variety keeps her sharp and ensures that no two days are the same.
Miranda happily works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She always ensures a warm welcome and a smooth handling of everything that comes her way. Thanks to her dedication, everyone quickly feels at home at SafetyPro!"

Jasper de Laat - Trainer
"Jasper has a background in the music and event industry and a great passion for sports, including climbing and various board sports. Thanks to that combination, he was introduced to working at height. Around the age of twenty, he found himself high up in the masts of wakeboard parks for the first time. That experience laid the foundation for his career in industrial climbing.
Jasper has been a proud member of the SafetyPro team since 2023. Here, he provides training in the field of working and rescuing at height. The variety in the training courses keeps the work highly interesting. He also appreciates the opportunity to keep learning from his colleagues. Sharing his knowledge with participants gives him a great sense of satisfaction, helping them grow in both skills and confidence as he prepares them to work safely and effectively in challenging conditions."
